1993 Suzuka 8 Hours Kawasaki ZXR-7 TT-F1

The 1993 ZXR-7 factory TT-F1 racer won the Suzuka 8 Hours ridden by Scott Russell (’93 Superbike World Champion) and Aaron Slight in the Hito Ham Racing Team. The racer we talk about here was the last of the TT-F1 era which were 4 strokes prototypes looking close to the bike sold in shops but these bikes were real racing prototypes built for racing and using titanium, magnesium or carbon fibre like the brake discs.
This ZXR-7 is the endurance version of the factory bike racing in the All Japan Road Race Championship in the TT-F1 class (the Japan Superbike championship) which will be replaced in 1994 by the Superbike class using street legal sport bikes with a lot of modifications and racing parts, but these will never be as gorgeous as the TT-F1…
